HP ePrint Make Fax History

Now that HP has launch the ePrint printer ENVY 100 e-ALL-IN-ONE which allow you to print anything that you can email especially basic things like a pdf or microsoft word or any text file, the good old fax machine may be see the its days number.

Only caveat is that the ePrint service is hosted by HP. It does not make use of nornal web mail like gmail or hotmail. So whether ePrint takes on depends on the load carrying ability of the ePrint service.

Personally, I doubt this will happen too soon. HP could have just web enabled their printer and allow them to use normal web email like gmail. Although having a proprietary ePrint service does make the ePrint feature easier to use and more handfree.
